VYP’s Community Outreach Committee (COC) exists as a function for young professionals in Las Vegas to become more active in the community through volunteerism, activism and creating community partnerships. Members of the COC develop, plan and implement volunteer opportunities with a variety of local organizations in Southern Nevada.

VYP’s Emerging Young Professionals (EYP) Committee is focused on engaging with graduating students, entrepreneurs and other young professionals to begin developing the relationships that will set their careers on the right path. EYP committee members create partnerships with local colleges and entrepreneurial agencies and work to increase awareness of VYP.

The VYP Events Committee designs, coordinates and implements a variety of educational and professional development programs that work to accelerate professional skills. The events committee is responsible for designing a structure, creating content, finding speakers and coordinating logistics for VYP programs.

The marketing committee is responsible for creating blog content, writing Business Voice articles, promoting events through various social media platforms and curating content for the VYP Instagram account.

VYP Ambassadors are long-time, highly involved VYP members who are responsible for the recruitment and retention of prospective and current VYP members. Ambassadors are on-hand during events to discuss VYP committees and upcoming programs and projects with new members. Ambassadors are also in the community as the face of the VYP brand, actively searching for new members and handy with information about upcoming events, programs, VYP history and committee information.
